Quality Control (QC) Specialist (24-32 h/week)

As a Quality Control (QC) Specialist you support the QC Manager with the writing, maintenance and implementation of quality testing procedures for all the products in our portfolio. Because of his/her expertise, the QC Specialist also provides advice and guidance to other QC team members and other departments of the company in matters related to quality control of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Taking the role of process owner of QC procedures
  • Supervising or directly writing/updating QC protocols and forms
  • Monitoring all QC-procedures are up-to date
  • Implementing QC procedures
  • Being part of internal audits (auditee)
• Taking the role of quality testing (QT) team coordinator and/or evaluator.
• Organising meetings to coordinate the division of work, transfer of knowledge, and when needed resolving QC-related matters with other departments.
• Providing advice/guidance to QT evaluators, QT performers, and team coordinators when questions about QT data evaluation and/or experiment performance arise.
• Training QC evaluators and other colleagues for proper QC evaluations.
• Preparing the trend-analysis of the QC procedure(s) as input for the Management Review.
• Reporting issues, and/or points of improvement for quality testing procedures to QC Manager.
• (Pro-)Actively starting or completing nonconformity, change and CAPA procedures.

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc (HLO) degree in Biology or Biomedical Sciences or similar.

• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control would be preferable (theoretical and practical).

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English (communications skills in English and Dutch would be preferred)
