Wanted: DNA Samples
MRC Holland is looking for DNA samples for the development and quality control of our many products. In exchange, donating labs receive free products of choice, see below. Conditions apply.
Negative DNA Samples
We are looking for blood-derived DNA samples from healthy individuals.
For each batch of 10 samples (minimum of 20 µg DNA per sample; no cell lines), we offer 100 reactions of a SALSA MLPA probemix of choice.

Do you have any of the above samples and would be willing to share them with us? To show our appreciation to donating labs, we provide the following:
- When donating a sample with 1-5 µg DNA, you will receive 25 reactions of a SALSA MLPA probemix of choice.
- When donating a sample with >5 µg DNA, you will receive 50 reactions of a SALSA MLPA probemix of choice.

Positive Samples: Endometrial and Colon Cancer Samples
We are seeking DNA samples from fresh or frozen healthy and cancerous endometrial and/or colon tissues. The tumour-derived samples should include (one of) the following aberrations
- MLH1 methylation
- BRAF V600E SNV
- MSH2 methylation
- EPCAM 3’ deletion
We are also looking for germline samples with:
- MLH1 methylation
- EPCAM 3’ deletion
To show our appreciation to donating labs, we provide the following:
- When donating 1-5 µg DNA, you will receive 25 reactions of a SALSA MLPA probemix of choice.
- When donating >5 µg DNA, you will receive 50 reactions of a SALSA MLPA probemix of choice.
