Information About Direct Orders
Direct orders and local sales partners
Please check if you can place a direct order with us before continuing. Customers in some countries can only place orders via one of our local sales partners. Check if there is a sales partner for your country. If there is a sales partner for your country, you can contact them for information about orders, quotes, prices and shipments.
Customers from countries without a local sales partner can order directly from our head office in the Netherlands.
Shipping and handling
All direct orders are shipped from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, either on dry ice or with ice packs, using a courier service (DHL or FedEx). We aim to ship orders within 1.5 weeks of order placement when products are in stock.
Shipping days
Shipments are sent every Monday to all destinations. Shipments are additionally sent every Wednesday to customers in Central Europe and the USA.
Shipping and handling costs
- The Netherlands: For orders below € 900, shipping/handling costs are € 45.
- Europe: For orders below € 900, shipping/handling costs are € 65.
- Outside Europe: For orders below € 2500, shipping/handling costs are € 135 in case a courier service can be used.
Prices are based on shipment by courier service (DHL, FedEx). Different prices apply for freight forwarding; please enquire.
Customs fees and import taxes
The recipient is responsible for any customs fees, local import taxes or other taxes levied outside the Netherlands. Customers from the European Union will have to pay taxes in their own country.
Discounts
- A 5% discount on our list prices will be given for orders exceeding € 7500 (not valid in combination with other discounts).
- Discounts on our list prices are possible for orders from countries with a low average income. Contact us for more details.

Returned goods policy
Errors by MRC Holland in shipped orders will be replaced at the expense of MRC Holland. We cannot exchange products in the event ordering errors were made by the customer. Products that have been shipped cannot be resold.
Payment information
We only accept payment by bank wire. Payments by checks or credit cards are not accepted.
At the time of shipment, an invoice is sent by email (preferable) or by ordinary mail. Payment is due approximately 30 days after shipment. Bank fees are the responsibility of the customer. Your payment must include your customer number and invoice number.
